The elephant in the room

from 20.00

It started with a simple sketch of two women having coffee. What should I put in the background I wondered... how can spice up this drawing? Letting my pen draw a few plants, out of nowhere came an elephant.

While sketching, the expression "elephant in the room" came to mind. And then I noticed the tip of the elephant's trunk was like a blindfold over one of the women's eyes. Did the woman naively brings up a subject she's not suppose to talk about?

If you're curious how this was made...  I started with a hand sketch then scanned and refined it in the computer. Textures, colors and details were done digitally but the plants were hand painted.

What you're getting: a gallery quality giclée print on white, matte, ultra smooth, acid free archival paper produced by an LA print company called Printful (also the one to ship directly to you). Available in three standard sizes: 8x10, 12x16, or 16x20 in.

Please note that colors on screen may vary slightly from the finished product.

And, as you probably guessed, the frame is not included.
