Portrait of Frida Kahlo

from 20.00

Portrait of Frida Kahlo in front of her blue house and one of the things she liked most, her garden. In the corner there’s the window she might have looked through during the many times she had to lay in bed, recovering from polio and her many surgeries.

I chose to show her unique fashion sense in its simplest form: hair braided with ribbons, wearing a Mexican necklace and the hand earrings that was a gift from Picasso.

If you're curious how this was made...  I started with a hand sketch then scanned and refined it in the computer, applying handmade textures and colors digitally.

What you're getting: a gallery quality giclée print on white, matte, ultra smooth, acid free archival paper produced by an LA print company called Printful (also the one to ship directly to you). Available in three standard sizes: 8x10, 12x16, or 16x20 in.

Please note that colors on screen may vary slightly from the finished product.

And, as you probably guessed, the frame is not included.
